Wildlife West Simsbury – CT
The best part of buying a home in Farmington Valley is you get to watch and enjoy all this amazing wildlife! The neighbors will call you when they see a bear or deer in your area so you won’t miss the show. One day while gardening my neighbor came out to inform me that there were 4 bears a few feet away from me. That was a little too close for comfort but look at this amazing photo he got!
Hawk in West Simsbury
This is one of 4 bobcats the strolled through our property in West Simsbury one winter.
While out gardening this beautiful bobcat sauntered by me. I got my camera and he seemed to sit down for a pose looking right at me.
This was a 30 minute show of bear activity in the back yard! Mama bear and her 3 cubs and papa following. She chased him full speed across the field! Papa then decided he would take a nice long swim in the pond. Amazing.
The bluebirds love the birdhouses in the fields. Plant a few sunflowers and the yellow finches will be everywhere.
